Economical restrictions, coupledwith new theories on animal feeds, are encouraging the use of considerably more rolled grain in feed preparations.

In reply to this need, A~EMO propose 2 roller mills, "Le Performant" and "Le Performant - Silence Systerne", that are the fruit of our experience and knowledge using modern materials for the manufacture of our equipment.

In order to reduce the noise and vibrations usually generated by roller mills, the mechanical framework (cast-iron rollers and 4 kW motor) of the "Performant" is suspended on rubber suspension pads, within the heavy duty polythene body, moulded to incorporatethe grainhopper.
The "Silence Systerne" version, uses the same mechanical conception, but the inside of the bodywork is covered by a layer of special noise insulating foam rubber, to further reduce noise emission. The more powerful 5.5 kW motor gives a higherthroughput.

COMMON CHARACTERISTICS

• 2 rollers 0:312 mm, width 170 mm (1 smooth and 1grooved).
• Both rollers driven by a 3 phase electric motor 380 V, 1500 r.p.m. via a "poly-V"belt.
• Mechanical framework mounted on rubber suspensions inside the polythene body that incorporates the 130 litre hopp er.
• Magnets in the base of the hopp er to reta in metallic impurities.
• Adjustments on front pane l.
  - Wheel for adjusting roller spacing.
  - Lever and notched segment for throughput adjustment.
  
• 2 strong, welded legs giving 900 mm clearance under the body.
